Scheduled Lift Maintenance
A good quality maintenance regime will reduce the inconvenience and costs associated with lift repairs. It is required by legislation that all lifts be routinely maintained and an annual safety check performed and documented.
Quality maintenance protects the lift owner and the general public. During a maintenance visit a mechanic works through a detailed check list, makes visual checks, makes adjustments to doors etc., feels the ride of the lift and listens to the lift for any issues that may be developing.
If issues are discovered during maintenance or are reported by a customer, our technicians will assess the seriousness of the issue and advise the customer of the best course of action. If the issues raised require a repair to be conducted then this is quoted to the customer.
Lift maintenance without lock-in contracts
No lock-in contracts
Melbourne Elevators' maintenance agreements have no lock-in clauses.
Our customers are free to assess the repair quote and obtain other quotes if they feel it is necessary.
At Melbourne Elevators we are committed to working with the best interests of our customers in mind, to ensure cost effective and timely repairs with minimal downtime and inconvenience.
We have heard many stories of lift owners signing up to long term, exclusive lift maintenance agreements that initially appear to be great value; only to discover later that repair prices are greatly inflated or they receive sub-standard customer service.
At Melbourne Elevators we believe that customers should be free to exit maintenance agreements at short notice. We have built long term relationships with our customers, not through contractual obligation but by providing excellent customer-focused service at highly competitive pricing.
Exceptional customer service
A key to the lift repair process is customer service. In these increasingly challenging economic times Melbourne Elevators has decided to move counter to most companies. Instead of cutting middle management and customer support staff, Melbourne Elevators has invested in customer service and employed additional staff!
When a customer calls Melbourne Elevators, they can generally discuss their issue with a decision maker at the time, or, receive a prompt call back. Our customers often express that it is good to know that they are not just another email in a queue that might be replied to sometime…
If you have a lift that is unreliable or needs a significant repair please don’t hesitate to contact us for a free opinion! We look forward to hearing from you.
